Sealer and Adhesive Dispensing Systems for Factories in Indonesia

PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur is an authorized Graco distributor in Indonesia that designs, supplies and installs sealer and adhesive dispensing systems for factories: supply pumps from drum or pail, metering systems, hoses and dispense valves, for manual and robotic application.

These systems are used for sealing, bonding, gasketing and bead application in automotive and general manufacturing. Send your material and workstation data on WhatsApp (opens in a new tab) or to sales@solusirm.com, and our engineering team will help put the configuration together.

Sealer and Adhesive Dispensing Systems for Factories in Indonesia

Why factories in Indonesia trust us with their paint loop

  • Authorized Graco distributor since 2002 — more than two decades of industrial fluid handling in Indonesia
  • Graco Asia Pacific Distributor Leadership Club, 2018 and 2019
  • Technical center and demo lab at MM2100 Cibitung, Bekasi — pumps and regulators can be seen running before you decide
  • Genuine Graco spare parts held at our Cibitung warehouse, so a diaphragm or seal replacement does not wait on an import
  • Meijiflex distributor for solvent-resistant composite hose, so the flexible runs in your loop are not sourced separately
  • Head office in Meruya, West Jakarta, and a branch office in Surabaya for plants in East Java

What a sealer and adhesive dispensing system is

A dispensing system is the chain of equipment that takes material from its container to the point of application at a controlled flow and pressure. For sealers and adhesives it usually consists of a supply pump drawing straight from a drum or pail, hoses, a regulator or metering unit, and a dispense valve in the operator's hand or on the robot.

The problems factories want solved are usually the same: uneven beads, wasted material, stoppages at drum changes, and results that differ between shifts. A properly designed dispensing system keeps flow stable, so bead size and joint quality are repeatable.

Industrial sealers and adhesives are generally viscous. Design is therefore not about picking one pump, but balancing the supply pump, hose length and diameter, heating where needed, and valve response at the point of application.

Graco equipment for sealers and adhesives

As a Graco distributor, we build systems from product families designed for industrial sealant and adhesive work:

E-Flo SP is an electric supply pump for industrial and automotive sealants and adhesives. According to Graco, it provides real-time closed-loop flow control, comes with Check-Mate or Dura-Flo lowers from 100 to 500 cc, and delivers fluid pressures up to 6,000 psi.

E-Flo iQ is a single-component metering and dispensing system for robotic application. Its electric servo motor meters straight from the drum, so only hoses and valves need to be mounted on the robot. Graco lists configurations for non-heated and heated applications up to 70°C.

For two-component materials, ProMix proportioning systems mix and dispense two-component coatings and adhesives precisely. At the point of application, the iQ Dispense Valve serves single-component sealants and adhesives, and Ultra-Lite offers lightweight 1K applicators and dispense valves.

  • E-Flo iQ — Single-component metering and dispensing for robots
  • Promix — Two-component coating and adhesive proportioning
  • iQ Dispense Valve — Dispense valve for 1K sealants and adhesives
  • Ultra-Lite — Lightweight 1K applicators and dispense valves

Integration with robotic sealing cells

Many sealing applications in automotive and manufacturing are done by robots. In a cell like this, the dispensing system has to work with the robot: valves open and close with the motion, and material flow follows robot speed so the bead stays consistent in corners as well as on straight paths.

PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur is also a Yaskawa robot distributor, so the robot side and the dispensing side can be planned in one project. Integration details, such as robot selection, communication with the dispensing controls and cell layout, are set from your part and cycle time during the survey.

What to prepare before the survey

The survey is much faster when this data is ready:

  • Material type, data sheet and packaging (pail or drum)
  • Whether the material is one- or two-component, and whether it needs heating
  • Bead shape or application pattern, and bead length per part
  • Cycle time and parts per shift
  • Manual or robotic application, and the controls already on the line

Technical center and demo lab at MM2100 Cibitung

PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur works from its technical center and demo lab at MM2100 Cibitung, Bekasi, with a head office in Jakarta and a branch in Surabaya. Genuine Graco spare parts are held at the Cibitung warehouse, so routine replacements do not have to wait on an import.

Which equipment can be seen running, and whether a trial with your material is possible, depends on the application, so please contact our team first to arrange a visit around your needs.

Common challenges in sealer and adhesive application

Most problems at sealing and bonding stations come from the same few sources, and most can be anticipated at the system design stage rather than fixed after the line is running.

That is why we always start from the material and the process, not from a product list. The right pump for one material can be the wrong choice for another, even when the applications look similar.

  • Viscosity that changes with ambient temperature, so flow shifts between morning and afternoon
  • Production stops at drum or pail changes, especially with a single supply pump
  • Air trapped in the material, which shows up as broken or porous beads
  • Two-component materials with a limited pot life, which need a stable mix ratio and a clear purge procedure
  • Abrasive or filled materials, which speed up wear on pumps and valves
  • The handshake between robot motion and valve opening and closing, which sets bead quality at the start and end of a path

How we run a dispensing project

  1. Survey and material data

We look at the workstation, the part and the material in use: type, viscosity, packaging (pail or drum) and any heating requirement. This data decides the pump and applicator.

  2. System design

Supply pumps, hoses, regulators, valves and controls are put together to match flow, pressure and the application method, manual or robotic.

  3. A quotation with a clear scope

The quotation states what is included and what is not, including utilities and integration with your existing robot or PLC.

  4. Installation and integration

Our team installs the Graco equipment on site and connects it to your line, robot or control panel.

  5. Commissioning and training

The system is run with your material, parameters are set, and operators and maintenance staff are trained for daily operation.

  6. Spare parts and service

After handover, support continues through genuine Graco spare parts and technical help from our team.

We build dispensing systems; we are not a sealing job shop

PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur sells, installs and integrates dispensing systems in your factory. We are not a job shop and do not offer a coating service or apply material to customers' parts.

If you need someone to process your parts, what you need is a job shop. If you want that capability on your own line, that is what we do.

Questions about sealer and adhesive dispensing systems

What is a sealer dispensing system?
A chain of supply pump, hoses, metering unit or regulator and dispense valve that takes sealer from a drum or pail to the point of application at a controlled flow and pressure, manually or with a robot.
What is the difference between E-Flo SP and E-Flo iQ?
E-Flo SP is an electric supply pump for sealants and adhesives with closed-loop flow control. E-Flo iQ is a single-component metering and dispensing system for robots that meters straight from the drum with a servo motor.
Can the system handle two-component adhesives?
Yes. For two-component materials, Graco ProMix mixes and dispenses at a precise ratio. The configuration is set from your material data.
Can it be integrated with a robot?
Yes. Graco dispensing systems are designed for robotic application, and we are also a Yaskawa robot distributor, so a sealing cell can be planned in one project.
Does PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur offer a sealing or coating service?
No. We are not a job shop; we sell and install the system in your factory rather than processing customers' parts.
How much does a dispensing system cost?
It depends on the material, the number of application points, heating needs and robot integration. Contact us for an estimate based on your workstation data.
