Industrial Automatic Powder Coating Machines in Indonesia
PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur is the exclusive Electron distributor in Indonesia and supplies industrial automatic powder coating machines: E-COAT+3 control units, E-GUN+3 guns, E-FEED+3 powder feed systems, and E-ROBOT+3 reciprocators and robots. We install these machines in factories, either as an upgrade to an existing line or as part of a new one.
This page is for factories, not small-workshop kits. Send your part sizes and production target on WhatsApp (opens in a new tab) or to sales@solusirm.com, and our engineering team will help define the right machine configuration.

- Technical center and demo lab at MM2100 Cibitung, Bekasi — see the equipment run before you commit
- Local spare parts warehouse, so routine replacements do not wait on an import
- Head office in Meruya, West Jakarta, and a branch office in Surabaya for plants in East Java
Automatic powder coating machines for factories, not small-workshop kits
This page is for factories that coat their own products at production volume: automotive components, electrical panels, metal furniture, racking and other industrial parts. The machines covered here are industrial-grade Electron equipment, designed to run shift after shift on repeatable settings, not a manual gun set for a small workshop.
The difference shows in three places. First, control: electrical and pneumatic parameters are set from a panel and can be stored, so results do not depend on an operator's feel. Second, automation: automatic guns are moved by reciprocators, not by hand. Third, powder management: pumps, injectors and powder centers handle flow, colour change and recovered powder.
If your needs are still small-scale, our cost guide compares a small-business package with an industrial line honestly. If you are already at factory scale, the sections below explain which machines make up the system.
The four Electron machine families and what each does
Electron groups its powder coating equipment into four series. On a factory floor they work as one chain: the control unit charges, the gun applies powder, the feed system moves and manages powder, and the robot or reciprocator moves the automatic guns.
E-COAT+3 is the control unit. The MASTER series has digital front-panel control, micro charge control below 10 µA, and a maximum charge capacity of 120 kV – 120 µA according to Electron's data. The PRO series uses buttons and regulators with 50 storable electrical recipes, for manual and basic applications. The MASTER P3 series adds proportional air adjustment of the application pump.
E-GUN+3 is the gun that converts control unit signals into electrostatic energy and sends feedback to the unit. C1 and C2 are manual guns, while C3 is a next-generation automatic gun with a fast hose adapter for colour changes, designed to work with E-FEED+3 AP and E-FEED+3 INJ.
E-FEED+3 covers powder management: manual (PM1), semi-automatic (PM2) and automatic powder management centers with contactless colour change (PM3), venturi injectors, the HD dense-phase transfer pump, the AP3 application pump, and mobile screening for powder from stock or reclaim systems.
E-ROBOT+3 is the motion system for automatic guns: horizontal (X) and vertical (Z) reciprocators, a vertical robot with contour detection (3D), and a single-gun movement system (AXIS) for parts with complex geometry.
Machine vs line: what you are actually buying
Many searches start with "powder coating machine", but what a factory needs is often a line. A machine is the application equipment: control unit, guns, feed system and reciprocators. A line is the whole process: pretreatment, drying, a booth with recovery, the application machines, a curing oven and the conveyor that connects them.
Buying machines alone makes sense when you already have a suitable booth, oven and conveyor and want to replace manual application with automatic guns or add guns. Building a line makes sense when you are starting from scratch or the existing process is a bottleneck at several stages at once.
We handle both routes. For a machine upgrade, the survey focuses on the booth, grounding and fit with the existing conveyor. For a new line, it covers the full layout and utilities, as described on our automated powder coating systems and powder coating line installation pages.
How to choose a machine configuration
The configuration follows the part and the production target, not a catalogue. The questions we ask on survey are usually the same:
- Part size and shape: sets the number of guns, the reciprocator stroke and whether contour detection is needed
- Conveyor speed and output per shift: sets the number of automatic guns and the feed capacity
- Number of colours and how often they change: sets the choice of manual, semi-automatic or automatic powder center
- Geometry with inside corners and cavities: sets the need for current control and gun angles
- Condition of the existing booth, recovery and grounding: decides whether a machine upgrade is enough or a new line is needed

How a project runs from first visit to production
Survey and technical consultation
We visit the site to look at your parts, the available space, and existing utilities. The real requirement becomes clear here — including when the scope turns out to be smaller than expected.
System design and layout
Line configuration, layout, electrical and gas requirements, and equipment selection are drawn up around your target output and part type.
Quotation with a defined scope
The quotation states what is included and what is not, so costs do not surface midway through the project.
Equipment supply
Electron equipment and supporting components are prepared against the approved design.
On-site installation
Booth, oven, conveyor, guns, recovery system, and control panel are installed at your factory by our team.
Commissioning and trial production
The system is run and parameters tuned using your actual parts, until coating results are consistent and meet the agreed standard.
Operator training
Your operators and maintenance team are trained to run the line, perform colour changes, and handle daily upkeep.
After sales and spare parts
After handover, support continues through spare parts held at Cibitung, scheduled maintenance, and technical assistance.
We supply and install systems — we are not a coating job shop
This is a common source of confusion when searching for powder coating in Indonesia, so to be explicit: PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur sells, installs, and integrates powder coating systems. We do not take in coating work or coat customer-owned parts.
If you need a quantity of parts coated, what you are looking for is a job shop or a coating service, and that is not us. If you run a factory and want powder coating capability inside it — so you are not dependent on a third party, can control quality, and can set your own production schedule — that is what we do.
The distinction matters because choosing a partner works differently in each case. For a job shop you compare price per kilogram or per part. For a system you compare line design, equipment distributorship, spare parts availability, and whether the team can commission it and support it for years afterwards.
Questions about automatic powder coating machines
- What is an automatic powder coating machine?
- It is the application equipment that charges and sprays powder without being moved by hand: a control unit, automatic guns, a feed system, and a reciprocator or robot that moves the guns. In a factory it is mounted on a booth and works with the conveyor and oven.
- What is the difference between a powder coating machine and a powder coating line?
- The machine is the application equipment. The line is the whole process, from pretreatment, booth and recovery and the application machines through to the curing oven and conveyor. If your booth, oven and conveyor are suitable, a machine upgrade may be enough; if not, you need a line.
- Who distributes Electron powder coating machines in Indonesia?
- PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur is the exclusive Electron distributor for Indonesia, for equipment, spare parts and technical support.
- Does PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur offer a coating service?
- No. We sell and install powder coating machines and systems for factories. We are not a job shop and do not coat customers' parts.
- How much does an automatic powder coating machine cost?
- It depends on the configuration: the number of guns, the type of powder center, the reciprocator stroke, and whether contour detection is needed. Contact us for an estimate based on your parts and production target.
