Fluid Handling

Graco Fluid Handling for Automotive and Manufacturing Plants in Indonesia

PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur is an authorized Graco distributor in Indonesia for industrial fluid handling: paint circulation systems (PCS), paint kitchens, paint supply to guns and robots, and pumping of high-viscosity materials. We design, supply, install and commission these systems in factories.

Our focus is automotive and manufacturing, not airless sprayers for DIY or small contractors. Send your material and line data on WhatsApp (opens in a new tab) or to sales@solusirm.com.

Graco Fluid Handling for Automotive and Manufacturing Plants in Indonesia

Why factories in Indonesia trust us with their paint loop

  • Authorized Graco distributor since 2002 — more than two decades of industrial fluid handling in Indonesia
  • Graco Asia Pacific Distributor Leadership Club, 2018 and 2019
  • Technical center and demo lab at MM2100 Cibitung, Bekasi — pumps and regulators can be seen running before you decide
  • Genuine Graco spare parts held at our Cibitung warehouse, so a diaphragm or seal replacement does not wait on an import
  • Meijiflex distributor for solvent-resistant composite hose, so the flexible runs in your loop are not sourced separately
  • Head office in Meruya, West Jakarta, and a branch office in Surabaya for plants in East Java

What industrial Graco fluid handling means

Fluid handling is how liquid materials are moved, circulated, mixed and delivered to the point of application inside a plant. On a paint line, that means paint from the paint kitchen to every gun. Elsewhere, it means chemical transfer, pumping viscous materials and supply to robots.

Graco's catalogue is very broad, including sprayers for contractors and home users. This page is deliberately limited to the industrial applications we handle: automotive, paint circulation systems, paint kitchens and high-viscosity materials.

Paint circulation systems and paint kitchens

On a paint line with many spray points, paint has to circulate continuously so it does not settle and pressure stays stable at every gun. The paint kitchen, or paint mix room, is where paint is prepared, agitated and pumped into the loop.

Pumps we use here include E-Flo DCi, an electric piston pump with intelligent control for high-volume supply. According to Graco, the 2-ball supply models range from 145 to 1,000 cc. For small to medium circulation systems, the E-Flo DC 4-ball is an electric pump option, and QUANTM is an electric double diaphragm pump.

The full technical discussion of loop design, sizing and 2-pipe or 3-pipe architecture is on our paint circulation system page.

  • E-Flo DCi — Electric piston pump for paint supply and circulation
  • E-Flo DC — 4-ball electric pump for small to medium circulation
  • QUANTM — Electric double diaphragm pump

Paint supply to guns and robots

At the end of the loop, paint goes to manual or automatic applicators. For automated lines, Graco offers Pro Xp Auto automatic electrostatic guns and ProBell rotary atomizers that integrate with robots. For two-component coatings and adhesives, ProMix controls the mix ratio before the material reaches the applicator.

Because we are also a Yaskawa robot distributor, paint supply and robotic painting can be designed as one system, from the paint kitchen to the robot.

  • ProXP Auto — Automatic electrostatic gun for paint lines
  • ProBell — Rotary atomizer for automated application
  • Promix — Two-component coating proportioning

Chemical transfer and high-viscosity materials

Not every fluid is ready-to-spray paint. Plants also move chemicals, solvents and viscous materials from drums into the process. Husky air-operated diaphragm pumps have corrosion-resistant fluid paths for chemicals and solvents. For viscous sealants and adhesives, supply pumps such as E-Flo SP are covered on our sealer and adhesive dispensing page.

Electric or pneumatic: how to choose the pump type

Pneumatic pumps are still widely used because they are simple and familiar in most plants. Electric pumps are increasingly chosen for new systems because they do not depend on compressed air and are easier to control. For the E-Flo SP supply pump, for example, Graco highlights that the electric motor needs no compressed air and provides data such as cycle rate, pressure and material usage.

The right choice depends on the material, flow, operating hours, the condition of compressed air in the plant and the need for process data. We compare both options during design and explain the reasoning in the quotation.

  • Availability and quality of compressed air on site
  • Operating hours per day and duty pattern, continuous or intermittent
  • Shear sensitivity of the material, especially metallic and pearl paints
  • The need for flow control and data for process monitoring
  • Ease of maintenance and spare parts availability

Industries and applications we handle

The Graco fluid handling systems we install are generally in plants that paint or assemble their own products. Typical applications include automotive body and component paint lines, painting of general manufacturing components, process chemical transfer, and sealant and adhesive supply to assembly stations.

If your application is not listed here, send the material and process data. Our team will tell you honestly whether it is work we handle.

Technical center and demo lab at MM2100 Cibitung

PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur works from its technical center and demo lab at MM2100 Cibitung, Bekasi, with a head office in Jakarta and a branch in Surabaya. Genuine Graco spare parts are held at the Cibitung warehouse, so routine replacements do not have to wait on an import.

Which equipment can be seen running, and whether a trial with your material is possible, depends on the application, so please contact our team first to arrange a visit around your needs.

Industrial fluid handling compared with contractor sprayers

How we run a fluid handling project

  1. Survey and material data

We look at the workstation, the part and the material in use: type, viscosity, packaging (pail or drum) and any heating requirement. This data decides the pump and applicator.

  2. System design

Supply pumps, hoses, regulators, valves and controls are put together to match flow, pressure and the application method, manual or robotic.

  3. A quotation with a clear scope

The quotation states what is included and what is not, including utilities and integration with your existing robot or PLC.

  4. Installation and integration

Our team installs the Graco equipment on site and connects it to your line, robot or control panel.

  5. Commissioning and training

The system is run with your material, parameters are set, and operators and maintenance staff are trained for daily operation.

  6. Spare parts and service

After handover, support continues through genuine Graco spare parts and technical help from our team.

We build fluid handling systems; we are not a coating job shop

PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur sells, installs and integrates Graco fluid handling systems in your factory. We are not a job shop and do not offer a coating service for customers' parts.

If you need parts painted by someone else, that is job-shop work. If you want a reliable paint supply system on your own line, that is what we do.

Questions about Graco fluid handling

Who is the industrial Graco distributor in Indonesia?
PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur has been an authorized Graco distributor in Indonesia since 2002, focused on industrial fluid handling, paint circulation and dispensing systems.
What is a paint kitchen?
A paint kitchen, or paint mix room, is where paint is prepared, agitated and pumped into the circulation loop that feeds every gun on the paint line.
Which Graco pumps are used for paint circulation?
It depends on system size: E-Flo DCi for high-volume supply, E-Flo DC 4-ball for small to medium circulation, and QUANTM as an electric double diaphragm pump. The final choice is made during design.
Do you handle airless sprayers for contractors?
Our focus is fluid handling for automotive and manufacturing plants, not sprayers for DIY or small contractors.
Does PT Solusi Rekatama Makmur offer a coating service?
No. We are not a job shop; we sell and install fluid handling systems in your factory rather than painting customers' parts.
Can an existing circulation system be upgraded?
Yes. Many projects replace pumps, add colours or fix a problem section of the loop. The survey shows which part is worth upgrading first.
Are Graco spare parts available in Indonesia?
We hold genuine Graco spare parts at our Cibitung warehouse, so routine replacements do not have to wait on an import. We also help you decide which parts to stock on site.
How much does a fluid handling system cost?
It depends on the number of colours, loop length, number of application points and the material. Contact us for an estimate based on your line data.
